With a population of more than 100,000, Lakeview is the second largest of the 77 community areas of Chicago, Illinois. Cody’s Public House, located at 1658 West Barry Avenue, is a mere seven-tenths of a mile southwest of Lakeview. When our Lakeview and Chicago neighbors are out for a walk with their spouses, dates, teammates, BFFs, or best canine friends, we urge them to come on over to Cody’s outdoor patio bar. Although we have updated Cody’s, we remain true to its original charm. We retained all the favorite features of the outdoor patio like outdoor grilling, ample seating, and the ever-popular bocce ball court.

Cody’s patio bar allows our Lakeview and Chicago customers to bring their own food to grill outside while they enjoy fresh air, and the sociable atmosphere and camaraderie of the other patrons. Our patio bar is also dog friendly year-round, so you don’t need to leave your pooch at home. We have ample outdoor patio bar seating available, 16 draft beers on tap, and we’re open seven days a week: Monday – Friday, 4 PM – 2 AM, Saturday, 11 AM – 3 AM, and Sunday, 11 AM – 2 AM.
